We’ve been at 24 Kallampalayam Layout 2nd Street for a while now. It’s just a regular place where we get things done. Most days start early with the machines running. We handle different types of clothing orders. It’s busy here. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded when the fabric rolls arrive. We just try to keep up with the work coming in. There are a few of us working here. We focus on the cutting and stitching mostly. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workshop with tables and sewing machines. We know the neighbors around 2nd street pretty well. People stop by to check on their orders or just to say hello. The weather gets hot in the afternoons but we keep the fans going. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it this way for years. We don’t really do big ads or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else. Every day is a bit different depending on what kind of shirts or pants we are making that week. We just try to finish the bundles on time so things don't pile up too much. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work. That’s basically what happens here every day from morning till the evening. It is just how we run things in this part of town.
