Megha Mixer Knit Wears

Our place is on the 1st floor at No. 69 Avp Road. We are right opposite the Kalaivani Theater in the Anupparpalayam area. Megha Mixer Knit Wears is the name. It’s usually pretty loud around here because of the theater crowds and the traffic on Avp Road. We work with knitting and clothes mostly. The floor is often covered in bits of yarn or colored thread. We have a few machines running for most of the day. It’s a bit cramped inside but we make it work for us. Anupparpalayam is a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops. We’ve been here for a good bit of time. People know the theater, so finding our building isn't too hard for them. We just go up the stairs and start the day early. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs when we need a break. The work is repetitive but it’s what we do. Megha Mixer Knit Wears has been part of this street for years. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big lobby. Just the equipment and the stacks of finished goods waiting to go out. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. It’s a regular shop, nothing more than that. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders that come through No. 69. It keeps us busy for the most part.
