R. M. Garments

You can find R. M. Garments at Shop No. 210 in the Tiptop Complex, which is located upstairs at No. 40 Azad Street in Kadherpet. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway can be a little dim, but once you get into the shop, there’s plenty of light. Kadherpet is a famous area for clothes, so Azad Street is always packed with people looking for materials or finished garments. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to stack the finished items quite high against the walls. There are sewing machines set up in the back where the tailors work throughout the day. You can hear the constant clicking and whirring of the needles from the moment we open. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment of cloth arrives, and we have to shuffle things around to make room to walk. We don't have a big storefront window, so we rely on the people who already know we are here in the Tiptop Complex. It’s a practical space designed for work rather than for showing off. We keep a small kettle for tea in the corner because the days can feel long when we have a lot of orders to finish. We’ve been at this Azad Street location for a while now and have seen many other shops come and go. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running to stay on top of the work.
