Adhi Lakshmi Apparels is located on Mahaliamman Kovil Street in K. Chettipalayam. Our address is S. No. 12, right off Dharapuram Road. This area is known for its textile work, so we fit right in with our neighbors. We deal with all sorts of apparel. The shop itself is quite simple. We have the cutting tables and the sewing stations all set up in a way that makes sense for us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We are not into big marketing campaigns or fancy logos. Our focus is just on the clothes we produce every day. The temple nearby means there is often music or bells ringing, which is a nice backdrop to our work. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open for whatever breeze we can get. We have been operating from this street for a good while. Most of the people working here live nearby in the neighborhood. It is a community thing for us. We do not have a corporate ladder or anything like that. We just work together to get the orders finished on time. Sometimes we run out of a certain button or thread and have to run out to get more from the market. It is just a normal, everyday business.
