Jit Machine Works

Jit Machine Works is located at 9/132-5 in Kaikolampalayam, right on the Kalapatty Road. We fall under the Mylampatty Post area, which is a bit on the outskirts but has a lot of small workshops like ours. We do a lot of different machine work here, mostly small parts and repairs that locals bring in. The shop is full of lathes and drills, and there is usually a thin layer of metal shavings on the floor by the end of the day. It is a hands-on kind of place. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. Kalapatty Road has seen more traffic lately, but it still feels like a quiet village spot compared to the city center. We start early when the air is still cool because the machines make the place heat up fast once they are running. Most of our day is spent measuring things and making sure the cuts are right. We have been at this Kaikolampalayam spot for a good while, so the neighbors know the sound of our workshop starting up. We aren't looking to change much about how we work. It is a steady routine of fixing things and making parts, and that suits us just fine. It is just basic machine work done by people who like working with their hands.
