Jeyam Knit Wears

We started Jeyam Knit Wears a while ago here on Mangalam Road. The shop is at number 69/1 2 in Thirunagar, which is a busy spot but we like it. We mostly deal with knitted clothes because that is what folks around here need. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us working together every day to keep things moving. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and making sure the stitching is okay. Sometimes the machines act up or the fabric delivery is late, but we manage. People stop by the workshop quite often to see what we are making. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workspace with tables and sewing machines. We handle a lot of cotton stuff since the weather stays warm. It gets loud in here when all the machines are running at once, but you get used to it. We just focus on getting the orders ready for whoever needs them. Usually, we are here early in the morning and stay until the work is finished for the day. There is always a pile of cloth somewhere waiting to be cut or packed. It’s honest work and keeps us busy. If you are walking down Thirunagar, you will probably see our sign. We have been in this same spot for a bit now and know the neighbors pretty well.
