Jayapraba Exports

You can find Jayapraba Exports over on Kumaran Street in the Thiruneelakanda Puram area, near North Kongu Main Road. It’s a part of Tirupur that is always humming with the sound of machinery. Our building is a simple one, and we use every bit of space we have for the production work. We have several sewing machines lined up, and there’s usually a lot of chatter among the workers while they handle the fabric. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even when we are rushing to finish an order. We mostly focus on basic knitted wear, things that people use every day. The floor is usually covered in scraps of yarn and cloth, which we have to sweep up every evening. It’s hard on the eyes sometimes, especially when working on dark fabrics, so we try to keep the lights bright. We’ve been at this address for several years, and we have a routine that seems to work for us. The neighbors are mostly other small textile businesses, so we all know each other. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread and have to go down the street to borrow some. It is that kind of place. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a practical workshop where we get things done. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything running, but we just take it one day at a time and see the work through. We finish up late most nights.
