J. V. Garments

J. V. Garments is located over at Sakthi Nagar North, specifically at 105 Sf No. 237/1. We’re near the P. N. Road, not too far from the Pooluvapatty Post. It’s a residential-turned-commercial kind of area, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the big industrial zones in the city. We focus on garments, mostly sewing and finishing touches. Our workshop is always buzzing with the sound of sewing machines running. It’s a small team, and we’ve been together for many years. We don’t have any big corporate goals or vision statements; we just want to make good clothes and keep our customers happy. Sometimes the fabric deliveries are late, and we have to stay late into the night to catch up. That’s just part of the garment trade. We don't have a fancy lobby or a waiting room. You just walk in and see people working. It’s honest work and we take pride in it, even if we don’t talk about it much to outsiders. The lighting in the shop could be better, but we make do with what we have. We like being in this part of town because it’s close to home for most of us. We don’t spend money on big ads. Usually, people hear about us from other shops in the area. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day in and day out, at our own pace.
