Indian Apparels Tirupur

Our unit is located at 5 Ragavendra Nagar in Thirumuruganpoondi, right in the heart of the Tirupur garment area. If you know this town, you know it’s all about the stitching and the cotton. We are no different. Our space is filled with the sound of sewing machines and the smell of new cloth. It’s a busy place and rarely quiet. We focus on putting together various types of apparel. It’s mostly just a group of us working through piles of cut fabric and turning them into finished shirts or pants. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and scraps, but we clean it up every evening. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find me at one of the tables checking the seams. We deal with a lot of different orders, some big and some small. The weather in Tirupur can be quite hot, so we keep the big windows open to get a breeze through the work area. It’s a tough business with lots of deadlines, but we’ve been doing it for long enough that we have a rhythm. We just care about making sure the clothes are put together right. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We’re just a small apparel setup trying to do a decent job every day and finish the tasks we started.
