Emperor Textiles Private Limited has its home at No. 16 First Street in Indhira Nagar. We are just a short way off Avinashi Road, which is always humming with cars and buses. Being in the textile business means there is always something to move or sort through. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it’s where we get everything done. We deal with various textiles, and the air is usually full of that specific cloth smell. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you’ll just see one of us hauling a bag or checking a manifest. We’ve been on First Street for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Avinashi Road keeps getting busier, so we try to do our shipping in the quiet hours of the morning. It’s a very practical kind of life here. We don’t go in for big marketing talk or trying to sound like a giant corporation. We are just a local textile place. We have our regulars who know where to find us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay out of the heat.
