M. R. S. Garments

We are located over on Jeeva Nagarmurugampalayam Road in Iduvampalayam. It's a bit of a mouthful to say the full address, but we call it home. M. R. S. Garments is basically a workshop where we make clothes. The S. F. No. 135/5 spot is where everything happens for us. It's a dusty road sometimes, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We have a bunch of local people working the machines. It’s loud inside when everyone is busy, but we’re all used to the hum by now. We don't have a sales team or a big marketing budget. We just make the garments and send them off to where they need to go. Some of the staff have been with us since the day we opened the doors. We share lunches and talk about the local news. The building itself is pretty plain. We care more about the stitching than how the front door looks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we always catch up on the work. It’s a straightforward life here. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making solid clothes for people to wear. If you’re driving down Iduvampalayam way, you’ll see our gate. It’s a practical setup for practical work. Nothing fancy, just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. We like it that way and just keep the production moving along.
