Classic Apparel is based out of Sf No. 86/1 Kaniyampoondi. You have to head toward Vanjipalayam Po and come via Mangalam to find us. It is a bit out of the way for some folks. The address also mentions Hsr Layout Sector 3, which can be a bit confusing for people trying to find the place for the first time. We do garment work. The building we use is a very simple structure. Inside, we have rows of machines and a lot of heavy iron boards. It gets really hot in the afternoon when all the irons are turned on at once. We drink a lot of water and tea to keep going through the day. Most of the workers live nearby in the village. We start early in the morning to beat the worst of the sun. The fabric comes in big bundles and we sort them out by color on the floor. We do not have a big sign out front. Most people just know where Sf No. 86/1 is by looking for the blue gate. We do basic clothes, nothing too fancy or complicated. It is mostly about getting the seams straight and the sizes right. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait for the generator to start up. That is just how things are here. The yard has a few trees that give us some shade during the lunch break. It is a steady pace of work and we stay busy most of the year.
