Hotline Garments

We've been at No. 47 Kombai Thottam for a while now. It's right on Kangayam Road North, which gets quite busy during the day. Hotline Garments is just what we call the place where we get our work done. Most days start early here because that’s just how things go when you’re managing a shop like this. We handle a lot of different pieces, mostly just keeping the machines running and making sure everything is stacked right. People pass by on the road all the time, sometimes they stop in but mostly it's just us doing the usual chores. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can fit all the fabric and tools we need. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We try to stay organized, though sometimes the piles of cloth get a bit high in the corners. It’s a straightforward setup. We don’t really have a big front office or anything like that. Just the work area and a place to keep the finished stuff until it’s time for it to go out. My desk is tucked in the back where it’s a bit quieter. Sometimes the power flickers but we just get back to it. That's pretty much how we run things here on Kangayam Road.
