Hindustan University

We are out here in Karattupalayam, near Thondamuthur in the Pollachi area of Coimbatore. Our address is 2/20, and it’s a bit of a drive from the main city, which makes it a peaceful place for an educational institution like Hindustan University. We deal with students and classes every day. It’s a lot of organizing schedules, talking to teachers, and making sure the buildings are in good shape. It’s not a fancy city university with glass walls. It’s more of a grounded place where people come to learn and get their degrees. We have a lot of paperwork to handle, as you can imagine with a university. Sometimes the hallways are loud with students running around, and other times it’s dead quiet during exams. We just keep the place running. The staff here mostly comes from the surrounding villages and towns, so we know the people who live around here. We aren't trying to be the most famous school in the world, just a place where local students can get an education close to home. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything moving, from the library to the classrooms. There’s always something that needs fixing or someone who needs help with their registration. We just take it one day at a time and try to be useful to the students who come through our doors. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do here in Pollachi every day.
