Hb Ias Academy

Hb Ias Academy is situated on the second floor of the building where Nirmala Dental Clinic is located. We are right on Annur Road in the Karumathampatti area. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you get here, it is a decent space for studying. We have focused our efforts on providing a quiet spot for people preparing for their civil service exams. Being in Coimbatore, it can get quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through from the main road. The academy isn't very large, just a couple of rooms filled with stacks of old newspapers and study guides. We don't have any big reception area or fancy staff. It is usually just us and a few students sitting around the large tables. We spend a lot of time discussing current events and going through old question papers. The dental clinic downstairs stays busy, so there is always a bit of activity around the entrance. We have a simple routine of opening early and staying late for those who need to study after their regular work hours. It’s a lot of reading and writing every single day. The furniture is basic and the lighting is just enough to see the fine print in the textbooks. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done.
