Cheran Knit Wears

Our factory is at No. 25 in the Sidco Industrial Estate. This is a dedicated area for manufacturing, so there are always sounds of industry all around us. Cheran Knit Wears has a setup here where we handle the knitting and assembly of various items. The building is a basic industrial structure, designed for work rather than looks. We have rows of machines that run for most of the day. The floor is concrete and often has bits of yarn scattered about. It’s a place where people work with their hands and keep a close eye on the equipment. Being in the Sidco estate means we are surrounded by other similar businesses, so there is a lot of truck movement and people coming and going. We don't have a fancy office upstairs. Instead, we have a small desk tucked into a corner where we keep track of our orders and papers. The work can be repetitive, but it requires a lot of attention to make sure the machines aren't snagging the yarn. We have a local crew from the nearby areas who come in every shift. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the batches we produce are done right. It’s a plain, hardworking environment where the focus is entirely on the production line and getting the crates loaded for delivery. We finish our work, lock up the gate, and come back to do it again tomorrow.
