Hanuman Knit Fashion

Our place, Hanuman Knit Fashion, is located at S.F.No:250/1 right opposite the Velan Hotel on Pudur Main Road. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the hotel is. We focus on knitwear and different types of knitted fabrics. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of the knitting machines. It can get quite warm inside when they’ve been running all morning. We spend a lot of time looking at the quality of the yarn before it goes onto the machines. There are always cones of thread sitting around in different colors. The Pudur Main Road gets a lot of traffic, so there is always noise from the buses and bikes passing by. We have a small office area, but most of us are usually out on the floor where the machines are. It’s a hands-on kind of job. If a machine breaks down, we usually try to fix it ourselves first. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules; we just try to get the work finished on time. The staff here are like a small family, and we usually take our breaks together. It’s a practical business. We’ve been here long enough that the local people recognize us. We just keep making our knitwear and handling the daily chores of a small shop. It is hard work but we are used to it by now.
