Guru Garments Tiruppur is situated at No. 224/e No. 92, on Jai Nagar 4th Street. This is near Maniyakarampalayam Road. Being in Tiruppur, we are surrounded by the textile industry. Almost everyone on this street is involved in some part of making clothes. Our specific spot is a bit tucked away, but we have enough space to handle our production. We spend our mornings checking the fabric that comes in. There is always lint in the air and the smell of new cotton. It’s a busy environment but we try to keep things as organized as we can. The workspace is filled with cutting tables and bundles of half-finished shirts. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a clock that is five minutes fast. People in this part of town work hard, and we are no different. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep the energy up while we work. The street outside can get a bit crowded with scooters during the lunch hour. We’ve been at this address for a while and we know most of the people nearby. It’s just a place where garments get made, nothing more and nothing less. We take things one day at a time here on 4th Street. We try to keep the machines in good shape so they don't break down when we are right in the middle of a big order.
