Great Mount Resort is on Meenkarai Road in Vazhaikombu Nagorr Village. It is a rural area, so it is very quiet most of the time. We have some guest rooms and a bit of land for people to walk around on. It is not like the big resorts you see in magazines. It is more of a local place. The village life is slow and we like it that way. Meenkarai Road does not get too much traffic, so it is usually peaceful. We spend our days looking after the property and making sure everything is in order. It is a private limited company, but it really just feels like a small business run by local people. We have a few hills nearby that look very nice, especially when it has been raining. We do not have a lot of staff, just some local folks who help us with the daily chores. The building is simple and we do our best to keep it clean and comfortable. Most of the people who stay with us are just passing through or visiting someone in the village. We do not have any fancy facilities or big pools. It is just a place to stay and have a meal. It is a practical setup for anyone who wants to see this part of the country.
