God Gift Garments

We have been here at No. 97 Cotton Mill Road for a good while now. It is right on 1st Street, just off P. N. Road. Most days it is pretty loud around here because of the traffic and all the other shops nearby. You can hear the sewing machines going from early morning until the sun goes down. We usually start by cleaning the floor and moving the big rolls of fabric out of the way. It gets dusty fast, so we try to keep things organized but it is a lot of work. The street is always busy with people going to work or the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. We make all kinds of garments here. It’s mostly stuff for people to wear every day. My cousin helps out with the packing sometimes when we have a lot of orders to finish. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a couple of rooms with tables and chairs where we do the cutting and stitching. It is a bit cramped when the new stock arrives, but we manage. If you are looking for us, look for the blue door near the corner of 1st Street. It is a simple place where we just do our jobs and try to get everything out on time. The tea stall next door is where we get our morning break.
