Global Hosieries

Global Hosieries is located at 2 Om Sakthi Nagar, 2nd Street, which is part of the Kpn Colony 3rd Street Extension. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a quiet residential and commercial mix. Our unit is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for moving the hosiery bundles in and out. The street is narrow, so when a truck comes to deliver something, it pretty much blocks everything else for a few minutes. We have a small team here. Most of the space is taken up by boxes of socks and innerwear. It’s not the most glamorous office, but it gets the job done. We have a couple of old desks and a computer that’s seen better days. The Kpn Colony area is full of businesses like ours, so we are in good company. You can hear the sounds of knitting machines from some of the other buildings nearby. We usually have a tea break in the mid-afternoon, standing out on the street to stretch our legs. There isn't much to the interior—just white walls and piles of goods. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or anything like that. We just make sure the stock is counted and the orders are sent to where they need to go. It’s a small, family-style operation where everyone knows their role. We’ve been at 2 Om Sakthi Nagar for a long time and the routine stays the same.
