Global Apparels

Global Apparels is based out at S. F. No. 462/1 - 3 in Mookambigai Nagar, which is part of the Veerapandi Post area. It’s quite an industrial feeling place. There are a lot of sheds and units around here, all doing similar things with fabric and thread. Our unit is a decent size, and we use every bit of it. The floor is usually covered in scraps of cloth by noon. We start early when it’s still a bit cool, because the afternoon heat in Veerapandi can be quite something under a tin roof. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so we all know the drill. We don’t bother with much decoration. The focus is always on the machines and getting the bundles ready. Mookambigai Nagar isn't a place people just wander into; you come here to work. We handle a lot of the bulk orders that come through this region. It’s a lot of lifting and packing and making sure the trucks can get in and out of the gate without hitting anything. The S. F. No. 462/1 address is basically our second home. We spend more time here than anywhere else. It’s loud, it’s busy, and there’s always a smell of new cotton in the air. It’s just a normal day for us, nothing special about it. We just keep the production moving and try to stay on top of the schedule as best we can. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it.
