Wijlash Apparels is based in the P. V. S. Building, specifically at 2/866 F. We are located on Gandhi Ji 6th Extension Street, which is in S. R. Nagar along Mangalam Road. It is a busy stretch of road. Sometimes finding a place to park a scooter can be a real headache. Our workspace is usually full of the sound of machines and people talking over the noise. We have been in this building for a few years now. We’ve become part of the furniture. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving racks around, and the lighting isn't the best in the back corner, but it works for what we do. We mainly focus on getting the garments finished and packed up. It is a lot of repetitive work. We try to keep the mood light with a radio playing in the background. Sometimes the street gets flooded when it rains heavily, and we have to put bricks under the lower shelves just in case. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the Mangalam Road traffic is really backed up. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just hear about us from someone else in the trade and stop by the building to see what we are up to. It's just a regular workshop.
