V. Fashion Company

V. Fashion Company is situated at No. 25/ 33 on Roja Street, which is in Asher Nagar near the Gandhi Nagar Post. It’s a pretty easy place to find once you get onto Roja Street. We’ve got a fair amount of space here, but it’s mostly taken up by sewing machines and big rolls of fabric. The air always smells a bit like lint and industrial oil. We spend most of our time at the workbenches. It’s not the kind of place where you’d see people in suits; we’re all in our work clothes and usually have thread stuck to our shirts. We’ve been part of the Asher Nagar community for some time now. The post office nearby is handy for when we need to send things out. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that hanging on the walls. We just have a calendar and a list of things that need to be finished by Friday. Some days are faster than others, and sometimes we run out of a specific color of thread and have to wait for more to arrive. It’s just the reality of running a small fashion business. We keep our heads down and do the work. The building itself is older, with some cracks in the walls, but it keeps the rain out and gives us enough room to do what we need to do. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of setup.
