We are based in Gandhi Nagar, specifically at A. V. P. Layout 3rd Street. Saarp Clothing Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a big name, but we are really just a group of people working in a building at S. F. No. 8/522a. The layout is usually busy with people coming and going. We have several rows of machines and a big area for cutting fabric. The noise is constant during the day, a mix of humming and clicking. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you'll probably find us with pins in our mouths or carrying big rolls of cloth. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure the piles don't fall over. We have a small area where we keep our lunch boxes and a water cooler. The windows stay open to let some air in, which brings in the street noise too. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just try to get through the daily list of tasks without too many mistakes. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day trying to get it running again. It’s just the normal part of running a clothing business. We are just regular people making clothes in Gandhi Nagar.
