Prance Garments

Our place is at No. 25 State Bank Colony in Gandhi Nagar. It’s a decent spot that is easy enough for people to find once they are in the area. Prance Garments has been operating from here for a while. We have the sewing machines running most of the day and the sound becomes like background noise after a few hours. Sometimes we run out of thread or the electricity goes for a bit but we just wait it out. The staff here are mostly local people from around Gandhi Nagar P. O. We sit together during the lunch break and talk about whatever is happening in the news. The space is a bit cramped with all the fabric rolls and finished pieces waiting to go out. We try to keep things organized but when it gets busy, things just end up in piles. It’s not a showroom where everything is shiny. It’s a working place. The office part is just a small table with a phone and some ledgers. If you come by, you might see us checking the stitching or packing boxes. We don't really do much advertising. People just know where we are. Dealing with the daily work keeps us busy enough. Gandhi Nagar is a nice place to have a business because everything you need is close by. We just focus on the garments and getting the orders ready on time without any fuss.
