Nextgen Clothing

We’ve been running Nextgen Clothing from this spot in A. B. Nagar for a while now. You have to head up to the first floor, right there in the State Bank of India Colony in Gandhi Nagar. It’s not a huge place, but we keep busy with all the different garments coming through. Most people find us because they live nearby or they’re doing business at the bank. The room stays pretty full of fabric and finished pieces, so it gets a bit cramped when we have a big order. We started here because the rent was fair and it’s a decent neighborhood. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a pain when we are carrying heavy boxes, but we manage. It’s just us working here, making sure things get done right. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the door at 175. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay on track with the sewing. Usually, the local folks stop by to see what's new. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making clothes and trying to keep the machines running smooth. If you are walking around Gandhi Nagar, you might miss us if you aren't looking up. It’s a quiet enough area most days, except for the bank traffic. We like being tucked away like this. It lets us focus on the work without too many distractions from the street.
