Maruthi Apparelstiruppur

Our shop, Maruthi Apparelstiruppur, is at 53/ A 1st Street in Padmavathipuram. That is in the North Gandhi Nagar part of the city. We’ve been at this specific location for quite some time now. It’s a busy area and there is always something going on outside our doors. We spend the majority of our time working on various garments. The space we have isn't particularly large, so things can get a little crowded when we have a lot of material delivered at once. We have to stack things up high just to make room to move around. It is just a normal, everyday workspace. We don’t have a professional decorator or anyone like that. We just put the tables and machines where they fit better. Sometimes the dust from the street comes in, so we are always cleaning the surfaces. We know our neighbors on 1st Street well and often help each other out when needed. We don't spend time writing out big goals or anything. We just focus on making sure the clothes are made correctly and sent out on time. It is hard work and the days can be long, but we are used to it by now. Padmavathipuram is a good place to be based because it is right in the middle of everything. We don't do any flashy advertising. People just know we are here because we have been around for so long. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of business. We take our work seriously but we don't boast.
