Karthik Expo

Karthik Expo is based at 6 Gandhi Nagar, 4 H Street, just off Avinasi Road. It’s a decent location because the main road is so close, which makes it easier for the trucks to get near us. The building is just a standard place where we keep our office and some of the stock. It’s not a very quiet street, but we like being near the heart of the activity. There’s always someone coming through the door with a question or a delivery note. We started out small and we’ve just stayed in this same spot, keeping things manageable. We don't use any big words to describe what we do; it’s just export work and checking quality before things leave the door. The desks are usually covered in papers and samples of whatever we are working on at the moment. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to tidy up the 4 H Street workspace a bit. We don't have a uniform or anything, just regular clothes and a lot of work to get through. It’s been our home for a long time now. The neighbors in Gandhi Nagar are mostly other businesses like ours, so we all understand the daily grind. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the orders are handled right and sent out to wherever they need to go. That’s really all there is to Karthik Expo. We are just a small part of the city.
