Our place is over on Nagarlakshmi Theatre Road in Gandhi Nagar. Specifically, we’re at 184J/1AB. It’s a good spot because everyone knows the theatre, so we just tell people to look for that when they're coming to see us. We’ve got a fairly simple setup here. It’s not one of those shops with bright neon lights or anything special. We just have our name on the front and a door that’s usually left open for the breeze. Inside, the shelves are pretty packed with items. We deal with a lot of different things, so there’s always something to be folded or put away. The floor is concrete and we’ve got a few old chairs for when we need to sit down for a minute. We get a lot of people stopping by after they’ve been to the movies or while they’re out running errands in the afternoon. It’s a friendly enough neighborhood to be in. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in to see what we've got. Sometimes the stock comes in late, and we end up staying here long after the theatre has gone dark for the night. We don't really mind, though. It’s just how the business goes for us. We like being part of the local scene here. It’s steady work and we keep at it day in and day out without much fuss.
