We started out on Amsavinayagar Kovil Street. We've been here in Gandhi Nagar Post for quite some time now. People around here know the spot. It's just a regular place where we make clothes. Nothing fancy about the setup. We spend most of the day at the machines or checking the fabric rolls. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the stock. My brother and a few cousins help out. We started small and just kept going. It's mostly about getting the work done on time. The street gets busy in the mornings. You can usually find us here from early until late. It's not a big showroom or anything like that. Just a workspace. We deal with whatever comes in. Some days are slow, others we have too much to do. We try to keep things moving. It’s a lot of manual work. The heat can be tough in the afternoons. We have a small fan that barely does anything. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. We just focus on the stitching. We make sure the buttons are on tight and the seams don't rip easily. That’s about it. Not much else to say. We’re just here working every day. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address. It works for us. We take a break when we can and then get back to it.
