Amman Garments

We are located at No. 59 Q on Gandhi Road, right behind the Eswaran Hall in Gandhi Nagar. Amman Garments is a small operation, mostly focused on sewing and getting clothes ready for local shops. Being behind the hall means we are a bit set back from the main noise of the road, which is nice. We have a few sewing machines set up and a big table for cutting out the cloth. It’s not a fancy setup at all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and there is always a pile of scrap fabric in the corner, but it’s a productive space. We don't spend money on big signs or advertisements. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by just walking past Eswaran Hall. Our team is just a handful of local folks who are good with a needle and thread. We work pretty hard to get the orders finished on time, though sometimes the machines act up or we run out of a certain color of thread. We just deal with those things as they come. It’s a straightforward life here. We start early, work through the day, and close up when the sun goes down. We don't have a big corporate story to tell. We just make clothes and try to do a decent job of it for the people who need them. That's the way we have always done it.
