Our office is at No 10/12 in Rve Nagar, right on the Kangayam Main Road. It’s a busy spot because the road is one of the main arteries for the area, so there’s always a truck or a bike passing by. We spend our days dealing with impex work, which basically means a lot of paperwork and a lot of checking on shipments. The building itself is pretty plain, nothing fancy to look at from the outside, but it works for us. Inside, there are desks covered in shipping forms and samples of whatever we’re moving that week. We don’t have a lot of decorative stuff on the walls because we’re too busy using the space for storage. The air usually smells a bit like new fabric and exhaust from the street. We’re a practical bunch. If something needs to be moved, we move it ourselves. If a customer calls with a question, we try to find the answer in the pile of papers on the desk. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when the heat hits in the afternoon. We usually take a break around four for some coffee and a bit of a chat before finishing up the day's tasks. It’s a steady kind of life. We’ve been on Kangayam Main Road long enough to know the best times to avoid the traffic. It’s just home to us now, and we wouldn't really know what to do if things were quiet.
