Eskay Clothings

The shop is right here on 50 Feet Road in E.B. Colony, which is part of Gandhi Nagar Post. We spend most of our days surrounded by fabric and the sound of machines running in the back. It’s not a very fancy place, but it’s where everything happens. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors all know us. Sometimes the street gets really busy with traffic and people walking by, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get somewhere. Our space is filled with stacks of different materials and clothes waiting to be sorted or moved out. It’s usually a bit dusty and there is always something needing to be organized, but that is just how a clothing business goes. We don’t have any big corporate offices or anything like that. It’s just us working through the orders and making sure the counts are right before the day ends. You can hear the fans whirring all day to keep the heat down. We just focus on the work in front of us. Most of the time, we are just busy checking seams or folding things up to pack. The 50 Feet Road is a good place to be because we are close to other small shops and it feels like a real community. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours standing on our feet, but we like the routine of it.
