Tiruppur is famous for clothes and we are right in the middle of it. Enbig Apparels Private Limited is located at 23 Mahalakshmy Garden. That’s in Swarnapuri Avenue, over in the Velampalayam area. If you know Coimbatore, then you know how busy the garment industry is around here. We have a decent workspace where we do all the daily work. It’s mostly sewing and checking the quality of the fabric we get. The trucks come and go all day on Swarnapuri Avenue, so it gets noisy. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the construction happening nearby. Inside our unit, it’s just rows of wooden tables and some old sewing machines. We’ve been at this address for several years now. Most of our workers live close by in Velampalayam. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy website. It’s just us doing the work. Sometimes we stay quite late when a large order needs to be shipped out. The weather in Coimbatore can get really hot in the summer, so we have fans running everywhere. It’s a noisy place, but that’s how you know work is actually getting done. We handle different kinds of everyday apparel. Nothing fancy, just good solid items. We just make clothes and stay organized in the middle of the rush.
