Elltee Garments

We set up Elltee Garments at No. 72 J. G. Nagar, right on the 60 Feet Road. Having a spot on such a wide road makes things a lot easier for deliveries, although the traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. Our place is basically a large hall filled with sewing machines and cutting tables. It is not the most modern building you will ever see, but it stays cool enough when we keep the windows open. We started this business because we knew how to make clothes and we wanted a place of our own in this neighborhood. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so they just walk or take a quick bus ride to the 60 Feet Road every morning. We don't really go for big titles or corporate hierarchies. If a machine breaks, someone fixes it, and if there is a big pile of ironing to do, everyone helps out. The walls are covered in some old calendars and notes we have scribbled over the years. It is a bit messy at times, especially when we have a lot of fabric rolls arriving at once, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and focus on the stitching. It is a regular job for us, and we are happy to be part of the local business community in J. G. Nagar without needing to act like we are bigger than we are.
