Gaga Exports Group

We are out at No. 41 in the Netaji Apparel Park. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it is much better for the kind of work Gaga Exports Group does. The park is full of big warehouses and trucks moving in and out all day long. Our unit is just one of many, but we’ve tried to make it comfortable inside. There is a lot of open space for packing things into boxes. Most of the day is spent checking labels and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not very exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We have a small area in the corner where we keep a kettle and some biscuits for breaks. The windows look out onto the main road of the park, so we can see who is coming and going. Sometimes it gets a bit lonely out here compared to the city markets, but we have a good group of people working here. We usually eat lunch together on the big table in the middle of the room. The air conditioning works okay, but on the really hot days, it struggles to keep up with the size of the room. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and a few notes taped up. It is a place for work, and that is mostly what happens here every day.
