Superior Knit Wears

You can find us over at 177 Bala Thandayutham Street in the Eb Colony area. We are located near South Gandhi Nagar Post. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads around here. We spend our days working with knitting machines and yarn. The noise of the machinery is pretty much constant from morning till night. We make different kinds of knitwear, mostly just standard stuff that people need. It’s a family-run kind of vibe even if we have workers from outside the family. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and fabric scraps by lunch time. We try to sweep up, but it just piles back up again. My brother handles the machinery side of things while I look at the orders and talk to people. The weather gets really hot in the summer, and the fans in the workshop don't do much, but we keep the production moving anyway. We get our yarn delivered in big sacks and have to sort it all out by color and weight. It’s a lot of manual labor. We don’t have a website or anything like that, most people just find us by word of mouth or by coming to the street. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. The building is old but it works for what we need. We just try to get the stitching right and make sure the sizes are okay before packing everything into boxes for delivery.
