We are tucked away in the Jai Kumar Dyeing Compound over in Sheriff Colony. The exact spot is No 17/1 6 in the Kurji Nagar Extension. It is an interesting area because of all the dyeing work going on around us. You can always see the colors and smell the different processes happening in the other units nearby. Our place is part of that world. We work on styles and garments right here in the middle of it all. It gets pretty busy, especially when a lot of orders come in at the same time. The compound is full of different small businesses, so there is always someone to talk to during a tea break. We have a small team and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing on that day. Sometimes that means packing up boxes and other times it is checking the fabrics for marks. It is not a glamorous job at all. We get our hands dirty quite often. The building itself is a bit older, so it has its quirks like the uneven floors. We have learned how to deal with the dim lighting in certain spots by the back window. We just focus on the work itself. People in the colony know us as the place that gets things done without making a fuss. Most of our day is physical work and it keeps us busy.
