Dhana Lakshmi Driving School

Valparai is a quiet place compared to the big cities, but driving here is a whole different thing because of the hills and the narrow roads. We started Dhana Lakshmi Driving School to help the people around here get their licenses without having to travel too far down to Coimbatore. Our address is right in Valparai, pin code 642127. Most days, we’re out on the roads with students who are a bit nervous about the hairpin bends. It takes a lot of patience to teach someone how to balance the clutch on a steep incline. The weather in Tamilnadu can be tricky, sometimes it’s really misty up here, and that’s when you really learn how to drive properly. We have a small office where we do the paperwork and talk to parents or people looking to start their lessons. It’s not a big fancy operation, just a few cars and some people who know these roads well. We spend a lot of time waiting at the RTO or explaining the traffic rules to youngsters. Sometimes the cars need repairs because the mountain roads are tough on the tires and brakes. We just keep going, day after day, helping one person at a time get comfortable behind the wheel. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy in this part of the world. Everyone knows us around here, and we like it that way because it feels like a community.
