Deekay Knitwears

Deekay Knitwears is based at No. 213 Dharapuram Road. If you know the area, you know it is a busy stretch with a lot of movement. We have been at this address for a long time, and the building has seen a lot of seasons. We mainly focus on knitting and making garments that people can wear every day. The sound of the knitting machines is the background music to our lives here. It is a steady, rhythmic noise that lets us know everything is running as it should. We have a small crew of dedicated workers who have been with us through thick and thin. We don't really bother with fancy titles or complicated hierarchies. If a box needs moving, anyone might pick it up. If there is a problem with a machine, we all stand around and try to figure it out together. The Dharapuram Road traffic can be a headache during rush hour, but it also means we are easy to find for deliveries. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the yarn and making sure the sizes are consistent. It is a lot of looking at small details, which can be tiring on the eyes. We usually take a break in the late afternoon to have some snacks and rest for a bit. It is just a regular knitwear shop doing its best.
