You can find our shop at No. 13 inside the D. S. Complex at 25 Nanjappa High School Road. Being so close to the school means we see a lot of kids and parents walking by every morning and afternoon. The complex itself is always a bit noisy with people coming and going from the different units. We’ve got a small space where we do our sewing and creating. It’s usually a bit of a mess with thread and scrap fabric all over the floor, but we know where everything is. We don't have any corporate polish here. It’s just a local shop where we work on different apparel projects. Sometimes people bring in things that need fixing, or they want something made from scratch. We spend most of our time at the sewing machines or at the big cutting table. The light in the shop is okay in the morning, but we have to use the overheads once the sun moves behind the building. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the industry. We just like making things and having a place where local people can stop in. We’ve been part of this community for a while now, and we know most of the other shop owners in the complex. It’s a steady pace of work. We drink a lot of tea and just keep the needles moving. There isn't much more to it than that, just honest work every day.
