D. G. International

You can find us over at No. 1/288 B-1 in Sri Ramaguruvaurappan Nagar. It is quite a long name for a neighborhood, but it is located near Arivoly Nagar in the Narana Puram area of Palladam. Our place at D. G. International is more of a warehouse and a simple office combined into one unit. It is a large, open space with grey concrete floors and high metal rafters. In the middle of the summer, it gets quite hot inside, so we have these big industrial fans that move the air around. We deal with international shipping and logistics, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving going on throughout the day. We have a small office area partitioned off with some glass panels where we handle all the necessary paperwork. It is usually covered in shipping manifests and various customs forms. We do not have any fancy art on the walls, just some old maps and a calendar from three years ago that nobody ever bothered to take down. The yard outside is often full of large trucks waiting to load or unload their goods. We have a small break area where we sit and eat our lunch together. It is a hardworking environment and people here do not waste much time on small talk. We have been in Palladam for a good stretch now.
