You can find us at No. 69/ A 4Th Cross in K. P. N. Colony. It’s a quiet enough street, though it picks up during the day. Cottonz Apparel Sourcing Services is basically a room full of fabric swatches and boxes of samples. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at different materials that come in from the suppliers. It’s not a glamorous fashion office like you see on TV. It is more about finding the right threads and making sure the colors match what was asked for. We have racks and racks of clothes and pieces of cloth everywhere. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in fabric, but we know where everything is. We started doing this because we had a background in the textile world and knew our way around the mills. Now, we just act as the middle ground for people who need things made. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything. We just want to get the sourcing right so everyone is happy. K. P. N. Colony is a good spot for us since it’s central to where we need to be. Most days, we are just here with our measuring tapes and notebooks. It’s practical work. We don't really do the whole high-end marketing bit. We just handle the apparel side of things as they come.
