At Cmv Global Clothing, we work out of No. 2/605 Narayanan Nagar Extension. We are tucked away in the Smc Nagar area of Ganapathipalayam. It is a quiet spot compared to the main city, which we actually prefer for getting things done. We handle a lot of clothing orders throughout the month. The work is mostly practical—sorting through piles of fabric and making sure the stitching is okay. We don't have a big corporate office. Instead, we have a workspace filled with rolls of cloth and thread. Our staff mostly comes from the surrounding streets, so it feels like a neighborhood operation. We spend a lot of time checking the machines and making sure the power doesn't cut out during a big run. There are days when the heat makes the work slow, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the clothes we send out are decent. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and moving boxes around. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread by the end of the shift. We clean it up and start again the next day. That is the life here in Ganapathipalayam. We just do the work and try to keep everything moving.
