Classic Apparel

Classic Apparel is located over at Sf No. 86 & 1 in Kaniyampoondi. It’s a bit of an out-of-the-way spot, but it suits us just fine. Out here, there’s a bit more room to breathe than in the middle of the city. We spend our mornings getting the machines ready and checking on the fabric rolls that come in. The building is practical, nothing too special to look at, but it keeps the rain off and gives us space to work. We’ve been at this Sf No. 86 & 1 location for a bit now. Usually, the day starts early before the sun gets too high. We mostly focus on getting the sewing done right. There’s a lot of thread everywhere, and the sound of the machines is basically our background music all day long. We don’t have a big front office or anything. It’s mostly just the workspace where all the real stuff happens. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble finding the exact turn-off for Kaniyampoondi, but they eventually get here. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of our notes are scribbled on scraps of paper or on the back of old boxes. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, without any fuss or fancy talk about what we are trying to achieve.
