Chipora Knit Style

We are located at No. 8/ 1005- A Amman Nagar in the Boyampalayam Pirivu area, near Pooluvapatty Post. Chipora Knit Style is basically a workshop where we spend our time dealing with knitting and fabrics. The machines make a lot of noise, so you can hear us from down the street when we are really going at it. It’s not a very fancy setup, just a practical space with concrete floors and high ceilings. We have piles of yarn in different corners, and sometimes it feels like we are drowning in thread. We don't have a showroom or anything like that; people usually come straight to the back where the work is happening. The area around Amman Nagar is mostly industrial, so there are a lot of other businesses like ours nearby. We know the truck drivers who come to pick up the crates, and we usually have a quick chat while they load up. The weather gets really hot here, so we keep the big shutters open to let the breeze in. We don't have any grand plans to change things. We just want to keep the machines running and get the orders out on time. It’s hard work and our hands are often tired by the end of the day, but it’s what we do. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and the sounds of the factory around us.
