You’ll find us at No. 716 in Chettikkadu Thottam. We are located in Karuppagoundampalayam, right near the Mutain Temple. It’s a quiet spot compared to the center of town. We do knitwear. It’s a family-run kind of place. We have a few knitting machines and some space for packing. The temple nearby is a good place to find some peace during the day. Our building is just a simple structure. We don't have a big sign out front. Most of our neighbors are either homes or other small workshops like ours. We spend a lot of time checking the tension on the machines and making sure the yarn doesn't tangle. It’s repetitive work but it needs to be done. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do our work and people find us by word of mouth or by just walking past. Sometimes we have a lot of orders and we have to bring in extra help from the neighborhood. Other times it's just the two or three of us. We keep things simple. The floors are usually covered in bits of thread and lint, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just part of working with textiles. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just want to keep making our clothes and taking care of the customers we already have. It’s just a normal job for us. We don't have any big plans, just to keep doing what we're doing.
