Flyleaf Clothing

We are out here at Usha Garden, right on Chandrapuram Dhurapuram Road. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which we actually prefer. The space is where we handle all our clothing work. It’s a simple setup. We have the cutting tables in one section and the finished stock in another. You can usually hear the sound of the iron or the steam as we prep things for packing. The Dhurapuram Road can get pretty dusty, so we spend a fair bit of time just keeping the place clean. We aren’t a big corporate brand with a glass building. We are just a local business trying to make good clothes. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood spot. We spend our days checking the seams and making sure the sizes are what they say they are. Sometimes we sit out front for a break when the sun isn't too hot. It is a very hands-on environment. We deal with the fabric ourselves, and we know every inch of this workspace. Flyleaf Clothing is just about getting the job done without too much fuss. We like the pace of Usha Garden and the people who stop by to see what we are working on. There is a small yard out back where we sometimes dry out certain fabrics if the weather is right. The road noise from Dhurapuram is always there, but it becomes like background music after a while. We don’t use any fancy software to design things; we mostly use paper and pencils. It works for us.
