Castle Garments

We are located right behind the Vigneshwara Bunk on Palladam Road. It’s a bit hidden if you aren't looking for it. The address is 4/136. It’s not a large building. Just a plain space where we keep the fabric and the sewing tables. We’ve been here for a good few years now. The sound of the traffic from Palladam Road is always in the background. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty because of the trucks going by. We spend our days mostly sorting through orders and making sure the machines are oiled. It’s just regular work. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably see one of us covered in lint. We started with just two machines. Now we have a few more, but it’s still a small operation. My nephew helps with the heavy lifting. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. The space gets a bit hot when all the irons are on. We try to keep the windows open. It’s just a normal business. We do our best to get the clothes out the door. There’s always more to learn about different fabrics. We just take it day by day. It’s a quiet spot behind the petrol station, which is nice in its own way. We just keep our heads down and work. It isn't complicated at all for us.
